| | Born in California on June 10, 1870. While living in Oakland in 1902-13, Zabel studied at the Mark Hopkins Art Institute. By the 1930s she was known as Augusta Crow and a resident of Santa Barbara. She died in Ojai, CA on April 15, 1963. Her work includes landscapes of the San Francisco Bay area.
