| Born in Evanston, IL on Aug. 26, 1907. Ullrich studied at AIC, Northwestern University, and with B. Ainsfeld, F. Chapin, K. Blackshear, and E. Zettler. Active in California during the 1930s, by the 1950s she had returned to Chicago. She was first the wife of artist J. D. Prendergast and later of Murray Zuckerman. Her later works are often signed with the monogram, "BZ." She died in San Francisco on April 30, 1987.
