|
| Frank Ignatius Seriphic, b. October 10, is of Pittsburgh, London, Paris, New York City; Carthage, Missouri, and Salt Lake City, Utah. He was the father of Francis Zimbeaux (q.v.); a good friend of Henri Moser (q.v.); an interesting neo-romantic tonalist painter whose work can be very much like that of Albert Pinkham Ryder; and a remarkable independent and wholly committed "fine arts"-- oriented figure who had known Matisse and other famous artists during his residences in the French and Br (showing 500 of 1429 characters). |
