| | Born in Chicago, IL on Feb. 21, 1889. Ziskind studied at the AIC. By 1914 he had moved to Oakland, CA. After his marriage to artist Henrietta Schmidt, he moved to southern California. He shared a studio with his brother Abraham in Los Angeles and lived in Glendale until 1944.
