Biography from Crocker Art Museum Store:
Landscape painter. Born in Canton, OH on Oct. 7, 1886, After graduating from high school in Canton, Zimmerman moved to Pasadena and enrolled at USC. He further studied under Victor D. Brenner. He exhibited locally and was an instructor at the Pasadena Art Institute in 1962. Zimmerman died in Arcadia, CA on Nov. 27, 1974.

Member: AFA; Calif. Art Club; Laguna Beach AA; Pasadena Society of Artists (pres. 1946-47); AAPL. Exh: Calif. Art Club, 1922-30; Pasadena Art Institute, 1931; Calif. State Fair, 1937.

In: John Muir School (Seattle); Pasadena and Monrovia (CA) public schools. AAA 1925-29; WWAA 1936-62; CA&A; SCA.
