| Caricaturist, abstract painter. Born in Cologne, Germany on Sept. 18, 1885.
Zitlig studied in Dresden before immigrating to Chicago about 1915. His caricatures were soon appearing in Esquire and other national magazines.
He lived in Los Angeles in 1931, Seattle in 1945, and died in Monterey, CA on Oct. 3, 1950.
