Julie Zickefoose is primarily known for realistic paintings of birds, eighteen of which had appeared on the cover of "Bird Watcher's Digest" by 2003. She began working as a freelance illustrator in 1980, upon graduating from Harvard University. There, drawing courses taught by William Reimann provided a foundation for seeing and interpreting living things into line.
As a painter, Zickefoose is self-taught, and looking hard at (showing 500 of 4257 characters). |
