A diverse artist, Melissa Zink combined several mediums in her dimensional works including painting, sculpture, computer generated imagery, and materials such as old book bindings, fabric, weathered wood, etc. Books were a special passion, not only in physical form but in the process of reading they induce. She included individual pages that evoke feelings.
Her collected work of ceramic sculpture has been described as a "museum of the mind, filled with imagery of archaeology, (showing 500 of 1200 characters). |
