| Paul O. Zelinsky earned a B.A. degree from Yale University and a M.F. A. from from Tyler School of Art.
The versatile illustrator has three Caldecott honor books; "Hansel and Gretel" retold by Rika Lesser in1985, "Rumpelstiltskin" in1987, and "Swamp Angel" retold by Anne Isaac in 1995.
In 1998 the artist won the Caldecott Medal for "Rapunzel." |
