The following was submitted by the artist's daughter: His work in the motion picture industry was hand lettering titles for motion pictures and backgrounds. He also did backgrounds for The Pageant of the Masters (around 1946 or so) in Laguna Beach, that is still a well known event every summer. He also did a 40 foot diorama (desert) for the Palm Springs Art Museum.
He was close friends with other fine artists such as Burt Procter, Russell Roberts, Will Foster, (showing 500 of 1561 characters). |
