1944 Louis Jaquet was born in Paris. He spends his adolescence as an apprentice specializing in the restoration of fine, French antique (Boulle) furniture and paintings.
1964 Upon his return from serving in the French army during the Algerian conflict, he enters The Palace des Vosges Studio in Paris.
1965 Louis studies at the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere.
1966 He enters the Academie Julian, Paris
1967 Louis paints and sculpts in central Italy. While there, he also works on restoring works by Perugino and Tintoretto.&nb
