Theodor Gratz (also Graetz) was born in 1859. He was a German painter and illustrator, active in Munich.
Gratz was a student of the School of Applied Arts in Hamburg. He studied from 1880 at the Munich academy under Ludwig von Löfftz. The artist also worked as an illustrator and caricaturist for the Munich "Fliegende Blatter" ( Braun & Schneider).
Theodor Gratz was a member of the National Association of visual Artists of Germany. The artist had numerous exhibitions represented in the Munich Secession. The artist also had exhibitions in the Munich glass Palace, the Munich Secession, and the Great Berlin Art exhibition.
