Born in Lehi, UT in 1874. Russon studied at Brigham Young University and at the ASL and Pratt Institute in NYC. He spent the summer of 1928 in Laguna Beach, CA where he painted several seascapes, coastals, and landscapes with poppies and lupines. After a long career as an educator, he died in Salt Lake City on Aug. 12, 1958.
