Hans Huber Sulzemoos was born March 21, 1873 in Sulzemoos and died March 7, 1951 in Munich. He was a German children pictures, flower, Madonna and landscape painter, with religious motives dominating his work.
He was the son of farmer and innkeeper Martin Huber and his wife, Theresa, nee Parl. When he was three years old his father died unexpectedly of a heart attack. His mother had to sell the property and moved with her three children to Fuerstenfeldbruck. Hans soon showed great love for nature. The boy was interested in beetles, butterflies and flowers, which he also drew.
In 1876, after moving to the capital city of Munich, he took an apprenticeship in stained glass at the Mayer'schen Hofkun
