Biography Andreas Chrysohos
Born in Milia, Famagusta, Cyprus in 1929, Andreas Chrysohos studied painting at Goldsmiths' College, School of Art of the University of London and psychology of children's art at N.E. London Polytechnic. He worked as teacher of art at the Pedagogical Academy and as an Art Inspector. He was involved in art criticism, icon-painting and calligraphy.
chrysohos has shown his work in one-man exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions in Cyprus and abroad in Greece, Cairo, Boston, U.S.A and: the 7th Panhellenic Exhibition 1968, 7th Biennial of Alexandria, 1st India Triennale, 34th Venice Biennial 1969, London, Budapest, Prague, former East Germany, etc.
