David William Cale was active/lived in Kansas, Texas.
Biography David William Cale
Cale was born in Wichita, Kansas on April 8, 1931. Served in the U.S. Navy from 1950-54. Earned a BFA from the Univ. of Wichita in 1960 and helped found the Bottega Gallery in Wichita. Earned a MFA from the Univ. of Wichita while working at Boeing Aircraft as an illustrator and serving as acting director for the Art Division of the Institute of Logopedics. In 1965 he left Wichita to teach at Amarillo (TX) College where he remained until retiring in 1993. He died in Amarillo, Texas on February 11, 2007.
