Biography Elizabeth MacLean-Smith
A teacher and sculptor, Elizabeth MacLean-Smith was an instructor at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston from 1940 to 1953, and for three years, she was a teacher at Bradford Junior College in Haverhill, Massachusetts. She lived in Charlestown, Massachusetts.
Her education included Wellesley College (A.B.); a traveling fellowship of the Belgian-American Education Foundation; School of Museum of Fine Arts Boston with Frederick Warren Allen and a Sturdivant Traveling Fellowship to Mexico in 1941.
She served five terms as President of the New England Sculptor's Association and was a member of the National Sculpture Society.
