Biography Eunice M. Paddock
Artist in various media, 1959.
“Where does Mrs. Paddock get her wonderful talent? It must have been inborn, for Eunice says ‘ever since I could hold a pencil I wanted to draw.’ She took a course in commercial art during the war which helped immeasurably. She did a lot of pencil sketching and drawing through the years, then pen and ink sketching and some work in water [Sic. color] and oils. She dabbled in ceramics, which didn’t satisfy her creative urge particularly. It was when she discovered the art of mosaics she found her most satisfying artistic medium. Equally enjoyable to her is the copper work she began more than a year ago. Both of these media allow her to give full expression to her talent of designing and execution of the design.Nancy Dustin Wall Moure, ATASCADERO (including CAMP ROBERTS, CARRIZA/O PLAINS, PASO ROBLES, SAN MIGUEL, SANTA MARGARITA, SHANDON, TEMPLETON, ETC.), ART AND PHOTOGRAPHY BEFORE 1960 (Publications in [Southern] California Art, vol. 13, no.
