Henry Brewerton Quinan

Henry Brewerton Quinan (1876 - 1948) was active/lived in New York, California, Alaska, Connecticut.  Henry Quinan is known for Painting, drawing.

Born in Sitka, Alaska on Nov. 10, 1876.  After graduating from UC Berkeley in 1897, Quinan studied art in Paris for many years at Académie Julian under J. P. Laurens. By the 1920s he had settled in NYC where he was art editor for Woman's Home Companion until 1940 .   He retired to Stamford, Connecticut where he remained until his death on May 21, 1948.
