Biography   Joseph Hector Yvon Fafard

Joe Fafard died on Saturday March 16, 2019 at his home in Lumsden, Saskatchewan. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Academy of Arts and an important and influential Canadian sculptor, printmaker and educator as is evidenced by the numerous museums that collect his works.

Joe Fafard, the acclaimed Canadian sculptor and painter who made art inspired by the Prairie landscape, its people and animals – most famously its cows – died on Saturday. He was 76.
