Laura Elizabeth (Monroe) Foster was active/lived in California, New York.  Laura Foster is known for cartooning, Illustration.

Biography   Laura Foster

Born in San Francisco, CA on April 12, 1871, Laura Foster began as a newspaper artist in her native city.  Following the earthquake of 1906, she settled in NYC where she found success as an illustrator for Life, Saturday Evening Post, Judge, and other national publications. 

Soon after arriving in NYC she married Donald Monroe. 

While on an extended visit in San Francisco, she died suddenly on Sept. 21, 1920. .
