Margaret 'Daisy' Steele Neubacher was born in Battle Creek, Michigan on July 7, 1872. Called Daisy, Margaret first studied with her father Theodore C. Steele. In 1905 she wed Gustave Neubacher. Most of her early life was spent in Indianapolis. By 1930 she had moved to Dent in San Joaquin County, California. She died in Alameda, California on November 10, 1955.
