The following information, submitted October 2006, is from Ben E. Kozlovsky, Sr., who received the biography from Miles Almandoz, nephew of the artist.

Aunt Milly was an American from Rhode Island, and her maiden name was Smith.  She met my uncle Aubrey in Maracaibo,Venezuela when she was visiting there.  He worked for the Royal Bank of Canada.  In the late 1930s, they returned to Trinidad where my uncles and my father had a large wholesale merchant business.

Aunt Milly taught art, and many Trinidadian artists were taught by her.  Her style was very Caribbean showing the culture of the island, as can be seen in the painting, with the native houses, the Negro man on the cart and the East In   ...  Displaying 750 of 1970 characters.
