Biography Ramon Valdiosera
Ramón Valdiosera was a fundamental figure for the development of Mexican art of the twentieth century. His concerns about the native and popular culture allowed him to express his concerns through graphic, fashion and teaching, activities that he developed successfully.
He excelled initially as a cartoonist; he was director of important magazines such as "Pepín" and "Chamaco Chico". In his plastic work he knew how to amalgamate the history, traditions and colors of our country. He also developed a notable interest in Mexican clothing and incorporated his items into garments for the modern woman.
His contribution was such that when presenting a collection of garments in bugambilia tones in the fashion week of New York in 1951
