Biography Secundino Sandoval
A member of the Los Alamos, New Mexico Art Association and the Los Alamos Arts Council, he is a native New Mexican who studied art with Randall Davey in Santa Fe and oil painting with Leslie Burtenshaw.
He attended the University of New Mexico and then earned a B.A. Degree in 1958 from Adams State College in Alamosa, Colorado. For two years, he was a technical illustrator for the U.S. Army Aggressor Center where he simulated enemy war games. From 1952, he was a part-time and then full-time draftsman and designer for the Los Alamos Scientific Laboratory.
His landscapes subjects are usually his home state with aspen trees, adobe homes, windmills, and prehistoric ruins. In Santa Fe, he was represented by the McAdoo Galleries.
