Albert Schnyder was active/lived in Switzerland. Albert Schnyder is known for painting.
Albert Schnyder took up residence in his native Delémont in autumn 1924, after his artistic training in Bern and Basel. Additionally, he took study trips to Berlin, Munich and Paris. In the following 60 years, he created an extensive pictorial work, with Jurassic landscapes and their residents almost invariably the subject. With the help of an easily abstracting brushwork, rich color, and simplified forms, he knew how to give his pictures succinct motifs.
