Biography  
Franz Sandow


Born in Hawaii on Dec. 24, 1910. Sandow settled in Berkeley in 1921 and was educated at UC. He did bas reliefs for the Labor Temple and Woodminster Amphitheatre in Oakland. He died in Berkeley on June 25, 1976. Exh: Oakland Art Gallery, 1930s; SFMA, late 1930s; San Francisco Art Association, 1941.
