He was the pupil of the painter Léon Van den Houten at the free workshop of the University of Labor in Charleroi.
A realistic painter in his early days, he was influenced by Expressionism and evolved into classical symbolism, great compositions, lunar landscapes and futuristic architectures.
His ideology was inspired by mythology, the Bible and the Divine Comedy and, throughout his career, he cared about the evolution of humanity.
