Biography from Boisgirard-Antonini (Paris)

Paul Leduc, a Belgian landscape architect, trained at the Academy of Mons under the direction of Bourlard, then to that of Antwerp.  Landscapes of his native region with its factories and coal mines, he passed the most bright and colorful views of Italy and Southern France.  His manner is influenced by neo-impressionism in the color clarification and study of light, focusing on making various lighting of the day.  He then practiced a technique inspired by divisionism.
