Tchong-Jen Tchang

 (1907 - 1998)
Tchong-Jen Tchang was active/lived in China, France.  TchongJen Chongren Tchang Zhang is known for Painting; Sculpture; Teaching.

In 1921, Zhang Chong-Ren entered into Tushanwan Printing House to work in plate-making and photography.  He also began to learn oil painting.  In 1931 he entered into Academie Royale des Beaux-Arts de LIege. During this period, he met a Belgian comic artist Herge and collaborated a production called "Blue Lotus."  In November of 1935 he returned home and in the following year organized a Chongren art studio in Shanghai.  Zhang held several solo and sculpture exhibitions. In 2003, Zhang Chong-Ren memorial was established.
