I bought a framed Yeend King B/W print at an antique store some 10 years ago. Just started researching the artist. I can't find info on any old prints or anything about this scene. It's a Victorian lady in a boat with a dog and a picnic basket. But a bigger mystery emerged when I decided to clean it. I took the very old frame apart to find behind the King print is a portrait of an older gentleman. It looks like a photograph, but upon closer inspection, looks more like a sketch. It looks quite old. Still not sure WHAT it is. I guess I need to get on the Antiques Road Show to have my mysteries solved!

I have a 24x18 oil, framed, signed Yeend King. On the back it says: FR registered #4432
Also says King Yeend ne 1860
It looks nothing like the paintings I have seen of his work. Any ideas?
I've a large framed black/white framed print of this artist with orginal wavy glass and frame. I've never seen the orginal - or an Shepherd girl with staff and boy in a field with sheep in the background. I am unable to locate the orginal reference to this painting.
I have a little 5"x7" print called "Just Fishin".
It is the back view of a little boy in a red sweater with a big golden haired dog (St Bernard ??)layimg beside him on the riverbank. I don't know that it is a copy of a Yeend King but I saw a similar one on Antiques Road Show.
Thanks for any input--I was just wondering
I have found a signed Yeend King piece in my new home. The setting is on a river with a lady looking down at a man in a small boat. The picture looks black and white. Can anyone give insite?
