Ashleigh (12/16/2008)
I just bought a oil painting for my sons room and was looking for info on it. I noticed you allready have an inquiry about the same painting. Its a little dressed up as a cowboy hiding behind a couch shooting his gun at a masked cowboy on the TV while a dog sleeps on the couch. I would love any info on it. Its in great shape but I wouldn't know if it was original or not. thanks!

Falter sketch
Tim (06/04/2008)
I have a simple pencil drawing of an old man with a cigar that has hidden nudes throughout. I also saw a similar drawing that was attributed to Falter. Mine is not in the best of shape. Does anyone know if Falter ever did sketches such as I described?

John Falter's home in Plattsmouth 1910-1916
Larry Rahn (04/08/2007)
John lived in the house I now own just around the corner from grandma Dovey's queen ann. Used to be Walnut street now Ave E. Must have played in the woods accross the street which I purchased with the home. Because atop grandma Dovey's 3 story he gained the appreciation of the "birdseye" view I am finishing the 3rd story addition to be the "John Falter's Crowsnest" He so loved to climb the water tower near his home in Falls City to obtain that high-up overview. I have much work done by J.P.pencil signed lithographs and will fill the 3rd story with as much of his work as I can afford. When construction is complete hope to have John Philip Falter House on the National Register (provided his living relatives do not object)
