I once worked for Rodney M. WinfieldBarbara D. Gamache
I worked with Rodney Winfield in the early 1970's. Rodney was a partner with Eric Herrmann at Illi, Inc., on Olive St. Rd.,Olivette, Missouri. This is while he was teaching at Maryville. Rodney is a sweet man
Rodney drove a Red MG convertible and wore a tasseled tam with a goatee/mustache.
note: Olivette is a west county
suburb of St. Louis County.
Rodney was an artist/designer and multi talented.
Students from Washington University were also employees in the art department.

I was a student of his at Maryville University. He was more than a college professor, but a mentor and friend.
I would like to contact him if he is still alive.
Stone Carved Plaque- WinfieldEstella Rucker
Years ago I bought a beige stone carved plaque of dried pods and branches at a yard sale in Los Angeles for $2. Today I noticed it has a cursive signing of "Rodney M. Winfield". Could this be the same artist on this page?
I had the privilege of being a studentMary Ehlers
I only knew and studied under Rodney for less than two years while at Maryville. I had a tragedy in my family, my only brother was murdered and I quit school. I would just like to say, I learned more from Rodney in two painting classes than I have in all the years that followed. I have been painting ever since. He encouraged me and shared his passion for art. I have not had any contact with him for over 30 years. It is my greatest wish that he would be able to read this so I could tell him thank you. He made a difference in my life's path in the short time I knew him.
