Parli's Acres
Barb (05/10/2010)
I have a Painting that is signed in the right hand corner by Irvine. It has a tag that says Wilson Irvine, Parli Acres. I am wondering if anyone knows value of such a painting and where and what time frame it would have been painted.

Help Identifying possible W H Irvine: Aqua Prints
Karen Hoisington (08/30/2008)
I have two Gaelic-Aqua Prints I believe are the work of Wilson Henry Irvine. I would appreciate any info about this type of work done by him. They are titled:"Ben Lomond" and "View from Stirling". The prints are unsigned yet numbered.

Help identifying a work by "W Irvine"?
Lynn (01/01/2008)
I have a night harborscape in oil with the signature of W Irvine 67 in the lower right hand corner. It was given to me in 1969 by my former father in law who purchased it at a NYC gallery. I recall him telling me this was "an up and coming artist." I am trying to find some information on this work. Anyone know the artist? The style bears some similarities to the work of WH Irvine (gendre, play on light).

Do you know this artist
june (03/25/2007)
does anyone know of an artist by the name of W. Irvine. He would have at one time or another done work with watercolors. I have no idea what the W. stands for. any info would be appreciated.

I have a painting
Jim Gamble (02/22/2007)
Wilson Irvine was a friend of my grandfather (Eugene Edward Gamble, Sr.). I believe that Wilson was in my grandparents wedding (late teens early 1920's) and gave them an original oil on canvas for a wedding gift. I don't know the name of the piece, but it is signed in the lower right corner.

I have a painting
David Watkins (06/17/2006)
I have an unsigned oil of Old Lyme harbor with an inscription on the back "Lydia & Jospeph Irvine, Old Lyme,CT". Are they related? I would like to establish the artist.

Will Irvine
Alice Engle Seaborne (04/21/2005)
H.W. Irvine was a friend and an associate of my father, Harry Leon Engle, and together with another Chicago artist they explored Brown County, Indiana for scenes for their landscape painting, and thereby started the establishment of Brown County as an artists' colony and international fame.
