Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art
The Morse Museum is known internationally for its collection of the works of American artist and designer Louis Comfort Tiffany (1848-1933). With the world's most comprehensive and interesting collection of Tiffany anywhere, the Morse collection includes leaded-glass lamps, the Byzantine-Romanesque chapel interior Tiffany created for the World's Columbian Exposition in Chicago in 1893 and the largest single collection of objects and architectural elements from Tiffany's Long Island estate, Laurelton Hall. The Museum's holdings also include a major collection of American art pottery and representative collection of late-19th and early-20th century American paintings, graphics, and decorative art.
